Please join us August 2014 for the 3rd Annual Showcase!

Your doctor may have skills you never dreamed of!  This one of a kind concert will feature ballroom dancers, vocalists, an all-physician band, a classical guitarist and a country western singing Hospital CEO!  When they all share their talent onstage, you’re going to be impressed, delighted, and possibly fall out of your seat laughing.  The best thing of all is that two great charities benefit from the evening!

Local doctors participating in this year’s concert include Dr. Tim Abou-Sayed; Dr. Marie Ambroise Thigpen; Dr. Robin Arrigo; Dr. John Fernandez; Dr. Sarah Ferrer-Bruker; Dr. Kenneth Fuquay; Dr. Xavier Garcia; Dr. Jeronimo Guzman; Dr. Dan Higgins; Dr. Linda Kiley; Dr. Jose Navarro; Dana Oaks; Dr. Thomas Rowe; Dr. Robin Shecter; Dr. David Soria; Dr. Richard Wayne; Dr. Maureen Whelihan and Dr. Jack Zeltzer.

“We are thrilled to again be a part of the Physicians Talent Showcase,” said Wendy Tippett, CEO of Adopt-A-Family.   “Last year’s concert was just fantastic with all the talented doctors!  We so appreciate Kathi Kretzer and the doctors coming together again to help support our Project Grow program.”

The concert is Tuesday, August 20 at 7:30 p.m. at The Harriett Himmel Theater at CityPlace.  Tickets for the Showcase are $50 each, and are available through Complete Ticket Solutions at 866-449-2489.   Tickets may be available at the door on a first come, first served basis.

Proceeds from this concert will benefit Kretzer Piano Music Foundation and Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, Inc.  Kretzer Piano Music Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing opportunities for children who need help in order to receive music instruction.  Adopt-A-Family is a local nonprofit dedicated to restoring families in crisis to stability and self-sufficiency.  Adopt-a-Family’s PROJECT GROW focuses on building the social, emotional and educational skills of formerly homeless children who now reside in the agency’s housing programs.  This year, Adopt-A-Family celebrates its 30th year in serving families in Palm Beach County.   Visit Adopt-A-Family to learn more about the agency.

Last year’s concert raised $38,000 for Adopt-A-Family.

Sponsors of this year’s concert are Kathryn Fox, Palms West Hospital Medical Staff, JFK Medical Staff, Jupiter Medical Center, Jules & Shirley Arkin, LKD Certified Public Accountants, Raymond James Financial, Palm Beach – Guia Brown and Chung Wong, Medical Staff of West Palm Hospital, and the Medical Staff of Jupiter Medical Center.
