August 2, 2008 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Community Back to School Bash The "Bash" provides needy Palm Beach County children the opportunity to begin the school year with NEW supplies - placing them on equal footing with their peers.  Last year the Bash provided school supplies to 7,765 children. This by-invitation-only event for clients of participating member agencies offers an opportunity for children to exercise the ability to choose, since they often have none.  Children are paired with personal shoppers to assist them as they select grade-appropriate items such as backpacks, notebooks, etc. Please help, the need is great! School supplies and monetary donations can be dropped off at any Palm Beach County Wachovia financial center until July 25.  Also, you can donate to the BASH through our our online donation form. Please indicate "BASH" in the comments section of the form.
